Role summary
Seeking an experienced Epic Program Manager for a 6+ month remote contract to lead a large-scale Epic Hosting migration for a major healthcare organization. This role serves as the primary liaison between internal teams and Epic Systems, coordinating all aspects of moving Epic infrastructure to Epic Hosting. The ideal candidate will possess strong program management experience in healthcare IT, deep knowledge of Epic EHR environments, and expertise in healthcare infrastructure, data migration, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Hybrid), and HL7 integrations. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Epic Program Manager to lead a large-scale Epic Hosting migration for a major healthcare organization.
- This role will act as the key liaison between internal teams and Epic Systems, coordinating all activities related to moving Epic infrastructure from on-premise or cloud environments to Epic Hosting.
- The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing Epic Hosting migrations or large Epic infrastructure/cloud transformation programs.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Program/Project Management experience in healthcare IT
- Strong experience working with Epic EHR environments
- Experience leading:
- Epic implementations
- Epic upgrades/integrations
- Large-scale healthcare IT transformations
- Experience managing enterprise-level cross-functional programs
- Knowledge of:
- Healthcare infrastructure
- Data migration
- HL7/interfaces/integrations
- Experience with cloud/infrastructure environments:
- AWS
- Azure
- Hybrid cloud
- Ability to communicate with both technical teams and executive leadership
- Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Epic Hosting migration experience
- Experience moving from:
- On-prem → Epic Hosting
- Cloud → Epic Hosting
- Prior work directly with Epic Hosting or implementation teams
- Former Epic employee experience is a plus
- Epic certifications preferred
