Role summary

Honeywell SPS is seeking a Sr Advanced Software Engineer specializing in Android OS Architecture. This role involves designing, developing, and integrating complex software functions. You will be responsible for software architecture, coding, integration, testing, feature definition, and customer support. The position requires a strong understanding of Android OS architecture and the ability to code in multiple languages. This is a hybrid role based in Fort Mill, SC, with an initial 90-day period of 100% onsite work required.

As a Sr Advanced Software Engineer – Android OS Architect, you will join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell SPS (Automation Control Solutions, Performance Materials Technology, etc.). You will use your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.

You will report directly to our Sr Software Engineering Manager and work out of our Fort Mill, SC location on a Hybrid work schedule. For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.
