Role summary

The Decision Engine Team at Huntington seeks a Decision Analyst to coordinate real-time inbound customer treatment strategies. This role involves building, testing, and deploying personalized messages across multiple channels to increase sales, build relationships, improve marketing conversion rates, and optimize channel usage. Responsibilities include managing automated messaging processes, monitoring/tuning rules, coordinating with IT for system upgrades and new capabilities, and collaborating with marketing strategists and product owners. A Bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience with campaign management utilities or decision engine software are required.

This position is available to be filled at any Huntington Corporate office location.

Summary:
The Decision Engine Team at Huntington coordinates real-time inbound customer treatment strategies to target customers with personalized messages. These interactions increase sales, build relationships, increase marketing conversion rates and optimize channel usage. A Decision Analyst on the decision engine team is responsible for building, testing and deploying these messages to multiple channels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with marketing strategists, product owners, modeling, test design, leads production, and analysis teams to deploy messages to desired channels.
  • Manage all aspects of automated messaging processes, including rules monitoring/tuning, testing and operational enhancements.
  • Coordinate with IT and Decision Engine Management on troubleshooting, development of new capabilities and upgrades to decision engine software.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Decision Sciences, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
  • 1 or more years of experience executing targeted marketing programs utilizing the IBM/HCL/Unica Marketing Suite (Campaign, Interact, Marketing Operations, etc) or other campaign management utilities/decision engine software such as Adobe or Pega.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in programming languages such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python
  • Additional advanced degree (Master's, Ph.D., JD, etc.) is preferred but not required.
  • Highly proficient using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Progressive thinker and problem solver, with a strong ability to manage ambiguity/complexity.
  • Work effectively in teams as well as independently across multiple tasks while meeting aggressive timelines.
  • Experience working in a consumer-centric company with teams of technical professionals in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to embrace change, constructively negotiate constraints, and effectively leverage resources to create exceptional outcomes. Consistently inspires high levels of professional demeanor and integrity.
