This role is responsible for the research, collection, and analysis of health plan data to improve cost savings, utilization management, and organizational performance. You will act as a subject matter expert, identifying areas for improvement and assisting process owners with implementing and monitoring change.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct research and data analysis on health plan data to identify cost savings and utilization trends

• Serve as a subject matter expert and coach to other analysts within the health plan department

• Document business processes and research best practices to improve overall performance

• Collaborate extensively with various departments to implement process changes and monitor outcomes

• Analyze market share and satisfaction data to support strategic organizational improvements

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, or a related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word

• Experience conducting data analysis within a managed care environment

• Technical knowledge of relational database environments such as MS SQL Server or Oracle

• Experience with ESRI Business Analyst or similar analytical software tools
