Associate Software Engineer

Location: Missouri, Hazelwood, 63042 | Type: Hybrid | Salary: £82,000 - £99,450 annual

A leading aerospace and defense organization is looking for an Associate Software Engineer. This role supports the Department of Navy Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile program through the design and maintenance of non-embedded software. The successful candidate will translate customer requirements into functional software products while adhering to strict safety and industry standards.

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain non-embedded software throughout the full lifecycle

• Translate customer requirements into technical software designs and products

• Debug and resolve software issues to ensure system reliability and efficiency

• Implement emerging technologies and frameworks relevant to software development

• Execute and document software research and development projects

What we're looking for

• Experience with VB.NET or C#.NET in a desktop environment

• Proficiency with SQL or other relational database systems

• Experience with .Net Framework (WinForms) and Web Services (SOA)

• Ability to analyze and translate complex customer requirements into software solutions

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearances for this role
