Associate Software Engineer

Location: Missouri, Hazelwood, 63042 | Salary: £82,000 - £99,450 annual

A leading aerospace and defense organization is looking for an Associate Software Engineer. This role supports the Department of Navy Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile program through the design and maintenance of non-embedded software. You will work within a specialized team to translate customer requirements into functional software products that meet strict safety standards.

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain non-embedded software throughout the full development lifecycle

• Translate customer requirements into technical software designs and products

• Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure system reliability and efficiency

• Implement emerging technologies and frameworks relevant to software development

• Execute and document software research and development projects for defense applications

What we're looking for

• Two or more years of experience with VB.NET or C#.NET in a desktop environment

• Proficiency with SQL or other relational database management systems

• Experience with .Net Framework (WinForms) or Web Services (SOAP/REST)
