HWIL Software Engineer - P2

A leading aerospace and defense company is looking for a HWIL Software Engineer - P2. This role involves designing and integrating state-of-the-art flight simulators used for missile testing and tactical software development. You will work within the Effectors Center to bridge the gap between weapon system design and final flight testing.

What you'll be doing

• Develop software to control Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) flight simulator facilities

• Perform software design, coding, and integration in a real-time environment

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to understand and meet weapon system requirements

• Support the deployment of systems for tactical software development and delivery

• Travel up to 20% to support the development and delivery of test environment equipment

What we're looking for

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 2 years of relevant experience

• Professional experience with software development in C++ using object-oriented features

• Ability to obtain and maintain a required security clearance for this role

• This position requires access to export-controlled information under applicable regulations

• Experience with software development using Linux operating systems
