A leading aerospace and defense organization is looking for an Associate Software Engineer. This role supports the Department of Navy Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile program through the design, development, and maintenance of critical non-embedded software. You will work within a dedicated team to translate customer requirements into high-quality software products that ensure the safety and reliability of global missions.

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain non-embedded software throughout the full lifecycle

• Translate customer requirements into initial software product designs and system integrations

• Troubleshoot technical issues and analyze user feedback to optimize software functionality

• Execute and document software research and development projects for defense programs

• Implement emerging technologies and frameworks while adhering to strict government regulations

What we're looking for

• Two or more years of experience with VB.NET or C#.NET in a desktop environment

• Proficiency with SQL or other relational database management systems

• Experience with .Net Framework (WinForms) and Web Services such as SOAP or Rest

• Ability to collaborate effectively within an agile, mission-focused engineering team
