A leading aerospace and defense technology company is looking for a Senior Embedded Real-time Software Engineer. This technical role involves working within an Integrated Product Team to architect, design, and deploy software for autonomous avionics systems. The successful candidate will focus on software integration for firmware and hardware solutions that meet critical mission requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Architect and design embedded software for FPGA and hardware solutions

• Implement and test real-time software for autonomous avionics systems

• Debug and deploy software for edge and embedded devices

• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams using Lean and Agile practices

• Ensure functional reliability and safety for time-critical system functions

What we're looking for

• Experience in embedded software development for hardware or firmware

• Proficiency in integrating software for subsystems where mission assurance is critical

• Background in developing for telecom, medical, automotive, or robotics sectors

• Ability to work effectively within an Integrated Product Team environment

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a required security clearance for this role
