Role summary

An innovative aerospace and defence organization seeks a DSP Algorithms Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) to design and develop state-of-the-art, space-based communication systems for commercial and national security programs. The role involves working within a systems engineering team across the full unit life cycle, from concept studies to satellite unit testing. An innovative organisation in the aerospace and defence space is looking for a DSP Algorithms Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level). This role focuses on the design and development of state-of-the-art, space-based communication systems for commercial and national security programs. You will work within a systems engineering team to support the full unit life cycle from concept studies to satellite unit testing.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and developing next generation RF and digital satellite communication systems

• Developing and verifying multi-rate, fixed-point signal processing algorithms

• Conducting performance analysis of signal processing models and waveform characterization

• Supporting HDL-level design, verification, and integration of payloads and spacecraft

• Performing detailed system design activities and trade studies from unit level to in-orbit operations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or computer science

• Professional experience or advanced education focused on signal processing

• Minimum of 2 years of experience for Associate level or 5 years for Mid-level

• Experience with performance characteristics of analog electronics or data converters

• Eligibility to access export-controlled information and obtain required security clearances
