Associate Software Engineer

Location: Missouri, Hazelwood, 63042 | Salary: £82,000 - £99,450 annual

A leading aerospace and defense organization is looking for an Associate Software Engineer. This role supports the Department of Navy Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile program through the design and maintenance of non-embedded software. You will join a dedicated team focused on delivering business intelligence and information technology solutions for global defense clients.

What you'll be doing

• Translate customer requirements into initial designs for software products

• Develop, maintain, and optimize software functionalities for systems integrations

• Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure software reliability and efficiency

• Implement emerging technologies and frameworks relevant to software development

• Execute and document software research and development projects

What we're looking for

• Experience with VB.NET or C#.NET in a desktop environment

• Proficiency with SQL or other relational database systems

• Familiarity with .Net Framework (WinForms) or Web Services (SOA)

• Ability to translate complex user requirements into technical solutions

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for this role
