Software Engineer

Location: Missouri, Hazelwood, 63042 | Salary: £105,000 - £140,000 annual

A leading aerospace and defense company is looking for a Software Engineer. This role supports the Department of Navy Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile program by developing critical information technology and business intelligence solutions. You will work within an agile team focused on expanding mission-critical software for domestic and international defense partners.

What you'll be doing

• Plan, design, create, and maintain relational databases and security protocols

• Write scripts for data migration during software upgrades and provide implementation support

• Design and implement database backup and recovery programs for critical systems

• Produce technical documentation regarding database changes for customers and partners

• Execute and document software research and development projects using emerging technologies

What we're looking for

• Experience with VB.NET or C#.NET including the .NET Framework

• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, CMD, or PowerShell

• Technical background in SQL or other relational database systems

• Experience in database administration and MSSQL or Transact-SQL

• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances for defense programs
