Location: Missouri, Hazelwood, 63042 | Salary: £105,000 - £140,000 annual

A leading aerospace and defence organisation is looking for a Software Engineer. This role supports the Department of Navy Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile program, focusing on the design and maintenance of non-embedded software. You will work within a dedicated team to translate customer requirements into high-quality software products that meet strict safety and regulatory standards.

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain non-embedded software throughout the full lifecycle

• Translate complex customer requirements into initial software product designs

• Enhance and optimize software functionalities for critical systems integrations

• Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure software reliability and efficiency

• Implement emerging technologies and frameworks relevant to software development

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience with VB.NET or C#.NET and the .NET Framework

• Proven proficiency with SQL or other relational database systems

• Experience utilizing unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, nUnit, or MSTest

• Ability to execute and document software research and development projects

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearances for this role
