Senior Software Engineer

Location: Missouri, Hazelwood, 63042 | Type: Hybrid | Salary: £133,000 - £155,000 annual

A leading aerospace and defense organization is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. This role supports the Department of Navy Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile program, focusing on the design and maintenance of non-embedded software. You will work within a specialized team to deliver critical business intelligence and information technology solutions for global defense missions.

What you'll be doing

• Translate complex customer requirements into initial software product designs

• Develop and optimize software products for comprehensive systems integrations

• Implement emerging technologies and frameworks while adhering to government regulations

• Execute and document software research and development projects

• Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure high reliability and efficiency

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience with VB.NET or C#.NET and the .NET Framework

• Proven expertise in SQL or other relational database management systems

• Experience utilizing unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, nUnit, or MSTest

• Ability to lead software lifecycle activities from design through maintenance

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain required high-level security clearances
