A well-established business known for providing advanced technical training and simulation solutions is looking for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER II. This role focuses on developing real-time software simulations and integrating complex systems within a collaborative engineering environment. You will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high-performance outcomes for critical training applications.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain software for real-time simulation environments

• Program high-fidelity applications primarily using C++ and Unreal Engine

• Perform software diagnostics and troubleshooting to ensure system stability

• Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate software with physical components

• Manage technical priorities to ensure project milestones are met on schedule

What we're looking for

• Experience with Unreal Engine and proficiency in C or C++

• Background in software real-time simulation and diagnostic skills

• Knowledge of UNIX/LINUX operating systems and MS Visual Studio

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/computer science with two years of experience

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain required security clearances for this role
