A leading aerospace and defence organisation is looking for a Senior Software Systems Engineer. This role involves applying systems engineering principles within modern software environments to integrate hardware and mission systems. You will collaborate across disciplines to ensure system performance, security, and mission assurance in secure environments.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain system requirements and traceability across the full engineering lifecycle.

• Define test strategies and execute verification and validation activities for system-level testing.

• Lead the integration of hardware and software systems using DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.

• Configure and maintain secure test environments using cloud-native and virtualized resources.

• Utilize model-based systems engineering tools to support design analysis and technical readiness.

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience applying systems engineering principles in modern software environments.

• Proficiency with DevSecOps pipelines, containerized applications, and infrastructure as code.

• Background in system-level integration and performing root cause analysis on complex systems.

• Experience with cloud architectures such as AWS GovCloud or Azure Government.
