Location: Missouri, Saint Louis, 63134 | Type: Hybrid | Salary: £118,150 - £159,850 annual

A leading international aerospace and defense organisation is looking for a Software Engineer - Systems (Experienced and Senior). This role supports a cross-functional engineering team utilizing an Agile framework to develop new solutions and capabilities. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to interface with customers and contribute to program-level impacts through technical leadership.

What you'll be doing

• Perform software system-level analyses to identify risks, issues, and mitigation opportunities

• Monitor and review test completion, verification processes, and issue resolution

• Implement emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to software development

• Develop user documentation and training materials for software product end users

• Manage software project activities and supplier performance to ensure alignment with industry standards

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 3+ years of software project management experience

• Proven experience working within an Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment

• Technical background in software development and the software ecosystem

• Strong communication skills for interfacing with technical personnel and senior leadership

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain the required security clearances for this position
