Public Key Infrastructure Engineer

IDR is seeking a
PKI Engineer
to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in New York, NY. This role will support enterprise certificate infrastructure and help secure critical systems through strong certificate lifecycle management practices.

Position Overview for the PKI Engineer:

• Support and maintain enterprise Public Key Infrastructure environments across a complex organization
• Manage digital certificate lifecycle activities including issuance, renewal, revocation, and monitoring
• Help automate certificate management processes to reduce risk and improve operational efficiency
• Partner with security, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to strengthen secure TLS/SSL implementations
• Contribute to outage prevention efforts by identifying and resolving certificate-related issues proactively

Requirements for the PKI Engineer:

• Strong experience working with enterprise Public Key Infrastructure environments
• Hands-on experience with certificate lifecycle management platforms such as Venafi, AppViewX, or similar tools
• Experience integrating and supporting certificate authorities such as Sectigo or DigiCert
• Knowledge of TLS/SSL certificates, X.509 standards, and secure certificate deployment best practices
• Experience supporting certificate lifecycle automation in Windows, Linux, cloud, or hybrid environments
