Must-Haves (Required Qualifications)

  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in defense, aerospace, or high-tech industries
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional engineering teams and technical programs
  • Strong expertise in RF systems and components (amplifiers, attenuators, phase shifters, mixers)
  • Experience with RF signal budget analysis (gain, noise figure, power)
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers)
  • Proficiency in Python or another technical programming language
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex technical concepts

Position Overview
We are seeking a Product Manager (Radar) to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of advanced radar technologies. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who can bridge engineering execution with product strategy, driving innovation across next-generation radar systems.
You will own the product vision from concept through production and sustainment, ensuring alignment with mission requirements, customer needs, and market trends within the defense and aerospace sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and execute product line strategy aligned with customer needs and market direction
  • Develop and maintain a long-term roadmap for radar systems and subsystems
  • Translate high-level objectives into actionable engineering plans

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Lead products through full lifecycle: concept, development, production, and sustainment
  • Ensure performance, cost, and schedule targets are met
  • Oversee configuration management, risk mitigation, and continuous product improvement

Capture & Proposal Support

  • Partner with business development to identify and win new opportunities
  • Contribute to proposals, RFIs, and technical solutions with strong competitive positioning

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program management
  • Drive alignment, resolve challenges, and maintain clear communication across stakeholders

Customer Engagement

  • Interface directly with customers to understand mission requirements and translate them into product solutions
  • Support program execution while focusing on product innovation and technical direction

Technology Leadership

  • Stay current with emerging radar and RF technologies
  • Integrate new capabilities into product architecture and development efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RF front-end design and antenna systems
  • Background in phased array radar systems (design, integration, or operation)
  • Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools (HFSS, FEKO, CST, Microwave Office)
  • Understanding of electronic attack and protection techniques
  • Experience with PCB design and assembly (Altium Designer preferred)
  • Advanced degree in engineering or related field

Work Environment

  • Full-time position (40 hours/week; flexible schedule)
  • Primarily office-based with collaboration across technical teams
  • Minimal travel expected
