Data Analyst (Health/Economic Research)
Role summary
A Health/Economic Research Data Analyst is sought for a hybrid role in Orangeville, ON. This position focuses on developing reports and insights for health professions by managing and analyzing datasets, identifying trends, and transforming complex data into clear reports and presentations. Key responsibilities include maintaining SAS code, cleaning and analyzing data, supporting survey design and analysis, and creating visualizations. The role requires a degree in Economics, Data Science, or a related field, with experience in SAS, data management, Excel, Word, data visualization, and reporting tools. Experience with surveys, healthcare data, or infographic design is considered an asset.
Data Analyst (Health/Economic Research)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support the development of reports and insights for health professions. This role involves data management, statistical analysis, and transforming complex data into clear reports and presentations. Working as part of a team in a small, well-established company, the incumbent will be required to work both independently and cooperatively with frequent deadlines for producing high quality products. This is a hybrid work environment with an office located in Orangeville, ON.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update SAS code
- Clean, manage, and analyze datasets (including longitudinal data)
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Support survey design, conduction, and analysis
- Produce reports
- Create data visualizations and PowerPoint presentations
- Provide client support and respond to data inquiries
Qualifications
- Degree in Economics, Data Science, or related field
- Experience with SAS and data management
- Experience with Excel and Word
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
Assets:
Experience with surveys, healthcare data, or infographic design.
