DevOps Engineer – CI/CD Platform Engineering
Role summary
We are seeking a long-term contract DevOps Engineer specializing in CI/CD Platform Engineering. This fully remote role requires designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps. You will develop reusable automation frameworks and integrate with Kubernetes/OpenShift. Experience with database deployment automation (Liquibase, Redgate) and scripting (Groovy, Python, Bash) is essential. The role also involves implementing observability for CI/CD systems and supporting development teams. Experience with CI/CD infrastructure administration and Infrastructure as Code is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps
- Develop shared pipeline libraries and reusable automation frameworks (Groovy, YAML templates)
- Integrate with Kubernetes/OpenShift (Helm, manifests) and container registries
- Automate database deployments using Liquibase, Redgate, or equivalent (SQL Server, Databricks)
- Support developer and data teams with pipeline onboarding, troubleshooting, and best practices
- Implement observability for CI/CD systems (logging, monitoring, metrics)
Must-Have Skills
- Strong CI/CD pipeline development (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps)
- Experience building reusable pipeline libraries or templates
- Hands-on with Kubernetes (OpenShift or EKS/AKS) and container deployment automation
- Database DevOps: Liquibase, Redgate, or similar; SQL scripting
- Scripting: Groovy, Python, Bash, or equivalent
Nice-to-Have Skills
- CI/CD infrastructure administration (enterprise scale)
- Azure App Services, Functions, or cloud platform automation
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience in regulated or enterprise environments
