Role summary

InfoMarines Inc. is seeking a remote Data Engineer with an active Secret Clearance and CompTIA Security+ certification to support data architecture and pipeline development. The role involves designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, developing data integration solutions, ensuring data quality and security, and supporting data migration and modernization efforts. Responsibilities also include developing SQL queries, supporting analytics and reporting, and implementing governance and monitoring. The position requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of Data Engineering experience, 2+ years of Python experience, and proficiency with ETL tools and SQL. Java programming is also required. This is a full-time, contract position.

Mandatory Requirements

· Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen

· Candidate must have an Active Secret Clearance

· Candidate must have active CompTIA Security+ Certification (DoD 8570/8140 compliant)

Responsibilities

· Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines

· Develop data integration solutions

· Ensure data quality and security

· Support data migration and modernization

· Develop SQL queries

· Support analytics and reporting

· Implement governance and monitoring

Required Qualifications

· 5+ years Data Engineering experience

· ETL tools and SQL

· Data modeling and warehousing

· Programming (Python, Java)

· Big data tools

· Cloud platforms

· Certifications (AWS, Azure)
