Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Java Software Engineer with Kafka, based in California. The position involves designing, developing, and implementing robust software solutions using Java, Kafka, and the Spring Framework. Responsibilities include building and maintaining microservices, optimizing code performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of software products.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Java and a proven ability to develop high-quality software products
Experience with the Spring Framework for building enterprise-grade applications
Proven skills in developing and maintaining Microservices architectures
Proficiency in Kafka or other similar messaging systems for event-driven architecture
Familiarity with programming concepts, software design patterns, and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in hybrid work environments
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience with DevOps practices and cloud platforms would be an advantage
