About Injuria

Injuria is a venture-backed, AI-native company in the personal injury legal space. Our consumer brand, thatcarhitme.com, helps people find legal representation after a car accident.

The Role

You’ll work directly with our technical co-founder on production systems. We’re building consumer-facing products, intake automation, webhook integrations, and AI-powered workflows. We use the Anthropic API extensively.

What You’ll Build

  • Ship features on thatcarhitme.com, our consumer-facing Next.js application
  • Build and maintain API integrations and webhook workflows with third-party platforms
  • Work on our AI-powered intake chatbot and lead qualification systems
  • Contribute to our attorney directory and search infrastructure
  • Build internal tools and dashboards for tracking lead flow and campaign performance

Qualifications

  • Comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern web framework
  • Has built at least one project outside of coursework (personal project, open source, freelance, anything)
  • Able to read documentation and figure things out independently
  • Currently enrolled in a CS program or demonstrably self-taught with a portfolio

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks
  • Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, or third-party integrations
  • Interest in AI/LLMs (we use Claude and the Anthropic API extensively)
  • Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Supabase, etc.)

What You’ll Learn

  • How to ship production software at a startup where your code goes live the same week you write it
  • How to build with AI/LLMs in production, not tutorials, but real systems using the Anthropic API
  • Full-stack work in a real codebase: Next.js frontend, PostgreSQL/Supabase backend, third-party integrations, webhooks
  • How engineering decisions connect to business outcomes like lead flow, conversion, and revenue
  • How to operate as a developer at an AI-native company where Claude is part of the daily workflow

Why Injuria

We’re a venture-backed startup building in a $50B+ industry. We’re AI-native: Claude and the Anthropic API are embedded in our product, operations, and development workflow. You’ll ship to production, see real users interact with your work, and learn what it means to build software that matters.

What We Offer

  • $15–20/hour based on experience
  • Real production work from day one
  • Direct mentorship from the technical co-founder
  • Hands-on experience building with AI/LLMs in production
  • Potential to convert to a full-time role

  • Part-time: 15–25 hours per week
  • Hybrid, with in-person sessions in the DFW area (Plano)
  • Flexible scheduling
