
Structural Designer
Role summary
INNOMARK is seeking an experienced Structural Designer to create innovative consumer point-of-purchase (POP) displays, merchandising materials, and retail solutions. This role requires a blend of structural and graphic design skills, with a strong understanding of materials, production methods, and visual presentation. The designer will collaborate with production and sales teams to develop concepts meeting client objectives, manage multiple projects, and create production-ready artwork. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and knowledge of print production are essential. Experience with retail displays, POP, packaging, or environmental graphics is highly preferred.
We are seeking an experienced Structural Designer to create innovative consumer point-of-purchase (POP) displays, merchandising materials, and retail solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong structural and graphic design skills with a keen understanding of materials, production methods, functionality, and visual presentation. In this role, you will collaborate closely with production teams and sales representatives to develop design concepts that meet client objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design consumer POP displays, merchandising materials, and print collateral
- Collaborate with production and sales teams to establish creative concepts and design solutions
- Develop design ideas based on appearance, functionality, serviceability, materials, production methods, and client specifications
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines, quality standards, and budget requirements
- Create layouts and production-ready artwork for a variety of print and retail applications
- Perform image retouching, manipulation, and color correction as needed
- Establish and maintain creative direction, brand guidelines, and visual standards
- Work across a variety of media and utilize industry-standard graphic design software
- Ensure all projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Industrial Design, or a related field
- 3–5 years of professional graphic or structural design experience, either before or after obtaining a degree
- Strong knowledge of layout, typography, graphic design fundamentals, print production, and digital media
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with retail displays, POP, packaging, environmental graphics, or merchandising is highly preferred
