Role summary

Inspire Specialty Hospital is seeking a Director of Quality Management to oversee and implement the hospital's performance improvement program. This role involves ensuring measurable, improvable, and controllable treatment services, conducting risk management reviews and audits, and providing education to staff and leadership. The Director will act as a resource, facilitate quality improvement activities, and manage oversight for all regulatory surveys and performance improvement initiatives within the 31-bed long-term acute care hospital. A Bachelor's degree and RN License are preferred, along with proven leadership experience in hospital quality management and in-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.

Inspire Specialty Hospital is a 31 Bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital located in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

This position is to ensure treatment services have characteristics that can be measured, analyzed, improved, and controlled as well as perform reviews and audits for the management of risk in the health care setting.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and implementing the performance improvement program to meet the needs of the hospital.
  • Provides education to medical staff, hospital staff, and Governing Body.
  • Facilitates performance improvement activities, and CQI activities throughout the hospital.
  • Acts as resource person to administrative team, department managers, and medical staff.
  • Performs clinical risk management functions.
  • Assists department managers with preparation for medical staff committees.
  • Oversight responsibility for all regulatory body surveys, such as, JCAHO, State Licensing Review, HCFA (CMS) Validation surveys.
  • Maintains oversight responsibility for all performance improvement activities conducted throughout the hospital.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the Chief Executive Officer

Specific Requirements:

As a Director of Quality Management, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • RN License
  • Registered Nurse with a valid license in the state of Oklahoma
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within Quality Management in a hospital setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and best practices in healthcare quality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive and sustain change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
