Role summary

Inspirica Inc., a non-profit organization serving individuals experiencing homelessness, seeks a Program Manager for its Children & Youth Services. This role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for youth-focused programming, ensuring high-quality, family-centered services that promote healthy development, academic success, and caregiver resilience. Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring child safety compliance, managing data and outcomes, and overseeing various program components like parenting support, childcare access, school advocacy, afterschool activities, and enrichment programs. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years of experience in children's or homeless services, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

The
Program Manager, Children & Youth Services
provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all children- and youth-focused programming. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, family-centered services to promote children’s healthy development, support academic success, and strengthen parenting capacity.

The
Program Manager
is responsible for supervising program staff, ensuring compliance with child safety standards, and driving measurable outcomes related to child engagement and parent satisfaction.

In addition, our ideal candidate will ensure effective implementation and oversight of:

Parenting Support Groups

Facilitate and/or oversee evidence-informed parenting workshops and support groups.

Ensure curriculum supports positive parenting strategies and strengthens caregiver resilience.

Childcare & Daycare Access

Guide families in identifying and accessing high-quality daycare options.

Support navigation of childcare subsidies and enrollment processes.

School Advocacy

Provide advocacy support to parents of school-aged children to ensure educational stability and access to appropriate services.

Collaborate with schools to address attendance, special educational needs, and transportation barriers.

Afterschool Programming

Ensure structured, safe, and engaging afterschool programming supported by staff and trained volunteers.

Oversee volunteer coordination processes related to children’s programming.

Enrichment Activities (Community Partner-Facilitated)

Develop and manage relationships with paid community partners providing arts, STEM, wellness, and other enrichment opportunities.

Ensure activities are developmentally appropriate and aligned with program goals.

Compliance, Safety & Risk Management

Ensure full compliance with child safety policies, licensing requirements (if applicable), and funder regulations.

Oversee completion and documentation of background checks, for volunteers, and community partners working with children.

Maintain and enforce safety protocols and incident reporting procedures.

Data, Outcomes & Quality Improvement

Monitor and analyze child and youth engagement metrics, attendance data, and parent satisfaction outcomes.

Use data to drive continuous quality improvement and program refinement.

Prepare reports for internal leadership and external funders as required.

Support evaluation efforts to demonstrate program impact and inform strategic planning.

The ideal candidate must have:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in children’s services, youth development, family services, or homeless services.

At least 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in nonprofit or human services

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) preferred in Education, Public Administration, or related field.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
