Role summary
Instacart is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Growth in San Francisco, CA. This role involves building and maintaining internal platforms for audience targeting and CRM campaign execution. Responsibilities include developing scalable software, designing targeting features, implementing user interfaces, optimizing SQL queries, building data pipelines, modeling user data, and performing system analysis. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) and 2 years of experience in programming languages like Java, Ruby, or Python, data management systems, client/server architectures, distributed codebases, data streaming, big data technologies, and data engineering. Alternatively, candidates with no degree and 4 years of experience, including 2 years in the special skills, will be considered. This is a remote position with a competitive salary range based on location.
