The Director, Infrastructure Engineering is responsible for managing existing Infrastructure and delivering commercially viable SaaS/Managed Hosting solutions, supporting the strategic direction of the company, whilst maintaining appropriate levels of security and meeting regulatory standards for our industry.

You are responsible for developing and maintaining a high performing team that will support the SaaS/Managed Hosting business continued growth and drive to use industry leading technology.
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Contribute to, deliver, and maintain the Cloud strategy for customer Datacenter Services that leverages available technologies and supports the commercial success of the business.
  • Help define and manage Instem’s transition from hosted Infrastructure to Cloud-centric IaC operations
  • Deliver on Datacenter Services margin targets to contribute Instem’s profitability
  • Review, develop, and agree on plans and supporting metrics for initiatives and programs that will help achieve department and business goals
  • Cost management for the Department
  • Develop and maintain relationships within the general business, life sciences and relevant governance communities to support excellence for Datacenter Services Solutions
  • Be an influential member of the Clinical Technology leadership team
  • Drive Security and Regulatory Compliance with our SaaS/Managed Hosting solutions
  • Influence the direction of the systems technology based on industry exposure/trends
  • Ensure the delivery and adherence to SLAs within a skilled Datacenter services organization
  • Provide guidance and expertise in the development and maintenance of the Instem SaaS/Managed Hosting customer contracts
  • Adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently
  • Support quality assurance activities related to US based audits and global matters where SaaS Cloud and Infrastructure are concerned in a Quality Assurance Consultant role

What We’re Looking For

  • Expertise in IT/Cloud-Based technologies with at least 10 years successfully managing a Global Cloud Solution.
  • Established experience in managing Information Security in a Cloud-based environment
  • A deep understanding of Regulatory Guidance in the early healthcare industry
  • Experience delivering and maintaining validated computerized systems
  • Several years experience overseeing high calibre IT Datacenter services teams
  • Experience managing a commercial Cloud-based solution.
