Senior Software Engineer in Test

This role involves working as a Senior Test Engineer focused on improving the quality and reliability of complex software systems. The position centers on designing and building automated testing frameworks, especially for APIs, to ensure products perform as expected before release. Responsibilities include validating system functionality, running different types of tests (such as integration and end-to-end), and collaborating closely with developers, application owners, and business stakeholders to review requirements and deliver dependable solutions in an agile environment. The ideal candidate brings at least 8 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation, with strong skills in API testing, Java, and cloud-based technologies. Experience with tools like Selenium, JUnit or TestNG, Postman, and Rest Assured is important, along with the ability to build automation frameworks from scratch. Knowledge of SQL for database validation and familiarity with cloud services such as AWS are also required. This role values strong collaboration, experience working in Agile environments like Scrum or Kanban, and the ability to contribute to high-quality software delivery across distributed teams.
