Role summary

We are seeking an experienced SDET to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and scripts. This role involves analyzing requirements, architecting scalable solutions using tools like Playwright and Selenium, and integrating AI for efficiency. You will be responsible for API and performance testing with JMeter, implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and ensuring code quality through unit testing with JUnit. The position also requires production support and collaboration with stakeholders to align automation strategies with business goals.

Analyze user stories, features and acceptance criteria within Azure DevOps to translate complex business requirements into actionable automation strategies.
Framework Architecture: Design and scale end-to-end automation frameworks from the ground up using Playwright, WebDriver.IO, and Selenium, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, and Spring Boot technologies.
AI-Driven Development: Leverage GitHub Copilot and MCP servers to accelerate script generation and optimize framework efficiency.
Design and maintain high-quality frameworks using WebDriver.IO (JavaScript) and Cucumber, utilizing Sauce Labs for extensive APIs, Web and cross-browser cloud execution.
Develop advanced scripts for Web, DB, and API layers using Playwright (Java/TypeScript), integrating AI tools like GitHub Copilot & Open AI to reduce development time by optimizing code patterns.
Performance Engineering: Validate system reliability and API performance under load by developing comprehensive automation suites in JMeter.
CI/CD Orchestration: Streamline the software delivery lifecycle by implementing GitHub Actions workflows within Dockerized and Kubernetes environments for both scheduled and ad-hoc job execution.
Unit Testing & Code Quality: Achieve significant reductions in production defects by developing high-coverage unit tests using JUnit and Mockito for Spring Boot microservices.
Business Logic Automation: Engineer specialized automation for FATTS APIs, creating complex Bulk Ballot sequences (pickup, drop, and trade) while ensuring 100% adherence to intricate business rules.
Production Support & Monitoring: Manage and monitor critical production support for FA TTS & TDO jobs, ensuring seamless daily and monthly execution for Lineholders and Reserves.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to ensure automation plans aligned with broader business objectives and deployment schedules.
