Role summary

Iowa Home Care is seeking a Pediatric Program Manager, a Registered Nurse, to lead and oversee their pediatric home health services. This role involves managing clinical operations, supporting staff development, ensuring regulatory compliance (including Medicaid and EPSDT), and driving program growth. The manager will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and building relationships with families, providers, and internal teams. Responsibilities include staff supervision, care plan development, quality monitoring, staffing coordination, budgeting, and process improvement.

### Iowa Home Care is seeking a Pediatric Program Manager to provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for our pediatric home health services. This role is responsible for managing clinical operations, supporting staff development, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving program growth. The Pediatric Program Manager plays a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while building strong relationships with families, providers, and internal teams.

### Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and management of the pediatric program, including both hourly and visit-based services
  • Supervise, mentor, and support pediatric clinical staff, including participation in hiring, training, and retention
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and agency regulations, including Medicaid and EPSDT requirements
  • Monitor program quality, outcomes, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Oversee staffing coordination to ensure appropriate coverage and continuity of care
  • Collaborate with leadership and marketing to support program growth and community outreach
  • Participate in budgeting, financial oversight, and strategic planning for the pediatric program
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and ensure adherence to agency standards
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes

  • Current Iowa RN license (Required)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of pediatric nursing experience (Required)
