Position Overview
Iron Will is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support advancing the national hypersonic strategy.
This is a senior, high-impact role operating at the intersection of strategy, execution, and integration. The selected candidate will help synchronize efforts across government, industry, and test communities—ensuring that investments, test activities, and operational objectives are aligned and mutually reinforcing.
The ideal candidate brings deep program leadership experience, a strong understanding of DoD acquisition and advanced weapons programs, and the ability to influence outcomes in complex, high-visibility environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support OUSW in the development and execution of national hypersonic strategy initiatives
- Drive integration across programs, stakeholders, and test activities, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes
- Coordinate across DoD, industry, and test organizations to synchronize efforts and reduce fragmentation
- Lead or support cross-functional initiatives spanning acquisition, test, and operational communities
- Develop and deliver executive-level briefings and decision support materials
- Identify and address programmatic gaps, risks, and inefficiencies, recommending practical solutions
- Support alignment of resources, timelines, and priorities across multiple efforts

- Breaking Silos: Enabling collaboration across traditionally disconnected programs
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (required)
- 12+ years of experience in DoD program management, acquisition, or related field
- Experience supporting advanced weapons programs, preferably hypersonics or missile systems
- Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes and program execution
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders (government, industry, test organizations)
- Proven ability to operate in complex, high-visibility environments
- Strong communication skills, including experience briefing senior leadership
- Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain); TS/SCI preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting hypersonic programs in a leadership role
- Familiarity with hypersonic programs, flight test, or range operations
- Experience integrating test, acquisition, and operational communities
- Experience with rapid acquisition pathways (OTAs, prototyping, etc.)
- Prior military or senior government experience
