Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Software Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions that enhance our electronic instrumentation and control systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize software applications that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

The applicant should have at least 3 years of experience in the design, development, and testing of embedded software. Experience in a Manufacturing Environment, and the automotive industry, along with its many SAE Specifications, is preferred though not required.

Duties

  • Develop, test, and deploy software applications using C, C++to support our product offerings.
  • Conducts and participates in DFMEAs and Design Reviews.
  • Develop and maintain library of software functions that can be used in ISSPRO products to shorten development cycles and improve reliability.
  • Ability to verify, validate, control, and maintain software iterations.
  • Creates and supervises the implementation of Engineering Change Orders.
  • Understanding of embedded software systems architecture and hardware-software interaction.
  • Analog and Digital trouble-shooting ability.

Experience

  • Experience with ARM architecture, PIC, or other microcontroller architecure.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as URT, SPI, 12C, or CAN.
  • Experience with wireless communication protocols (e.g., BLE, Zigbee).
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for testing automation.
  • Hands on knowledge of C#/XAML programming of cross platform applications (.NET MAUI).
  • Familiar and/or experienced with Altium PCA design software.
  • Knowledge of NI LabVIEW programming.
  • Strong understanding of front-end development techniques alongside back-end integration skills for comprehensive system solutions. BS-EE and 3+ years design experience or equivalent proven capability.
