Responsibilities include supporting existing infrastructure, leading moderate to major projects, and mentoring team members. A Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience or an Associate's degree with 8 years of experience is required.

This role covers networking, VoIP, cloud, virtualization, applications, carrier connectivity, infrastructure security, and monitoring systems.

Primary Responsibilities:
Support Services (10–15%)
- Assist Core Infrastructure team in resolving network and systems issues to maintain 99% uptime SLA
- Monitor and manage Tier 3/4 infrastructure tickets; update, prioritize, and escalate as needed
- Provide Tier 3/4 technical assistance to end users, vendors, and business groups
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks
Implementation Services (70–80%)
- Develop, model, and design IT infrastructure solutions and integrations
- Create and update infrastructure technology policies, procedures, and standards
- Lead moderate to major projects independently and within team environments
- Implement disaster recovery and high availability plans
- Review, upgrade, and replace infrastructure systems on a 3–5 year cycle
- Research emerging technologies and recommend hardware/software solutions
Administration (10–15%)
- Mentor and guide team members on troubleshooting and design
- Collaborate with IT&S department on 3–5 year infrastructure planning
- Maintain and document the infrastructure environment, addressing technology gaps
Additional Duties
- Maintain accurate documentation and submit daily hours and status reports
- Draft knowledge base articles and other support documentation
- Participate in 24x7 support and on-call rotation as required
- Assist operations, analysts, and vendors with business service troubleshooting
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6–8+ years hands-on experience in network, server, and cloud administration/support
- Education: Associate degree + 8 years experience OR Bachelor’s degree + 6 years experience in IT
- Strong networking expertise: routing, switching, SD-WAN, multi-vendor environments
- Experience with Cisco Meraki, Unified Communications (Call Manager, Contact Center), SIP trunking
- Proficiency in virtualization, cloud management, enterprise backup, and storage solutions
- Scripting and automation experience: Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, ARM
- Knowledge of infrastructure security, VPNs, 2FA, URL filtering, patching, and hardening
- Strong problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills
- Experience with service desk tools and desktop operating systems (Windows/macOS)
- Ability to operate under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Preferred Certifications:
- Cisco, Microsoft, ITIL, or equivalent
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work onsite as required, with occasional travel to remote locations
- Flexible schedule including weekends and after-hours support
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs; primarily sedentary work
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity required for detailed computer work
- Typical office environment; occasional exposure to moderate noise

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
