Role summary
ITSC Secure Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer I to support Missile Warning system verification within the FORGE environment at Buckley Space Force Base, CO. This hybrid role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Missile Warning, space, or DoD system verification and test efforts. The engineer will provide independent consultation, develop verification methodologies, advise on improvements, and assist with enterprise test planning and execution. The position contributes to the quality and reliability of critical national security systems.

Position Overview
ITSC is seeking a Test Engineer I to provide base-level independent consultation and enterprise expertise in Missile Warning specialized technical and management areas, with a focus on system verification. This role supports enterprise testing efforts and provides recommendations and advice on Missile Warning verification methodologies, approaches, and improvement initiatives across the FORGE environment.
Impact of the Role
The Test Engineer I contributes directly to the quality and reliability of Missile Warning systems by supporting verification activities and helping improve testing rigor. This role supports mission readiness by ensuring verification approaches are effective, repeatable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent consultation supporting Missile Warning system verification activities
- Support development and refinement of verification methodologies and approaches
- Provide recommendations and advice on verification improvements
- Assist with enterprise-level test planning, execution, and assessment activities
- Identify verification risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with government and contractor stakeholders to support verification outcomes
Required Knowledge & Technical Expertise
- Missile Warning system verification principles
- Enterprise test and verification methodologies
- System Verification & Validation (V&V)
- FORGE testing and integration environments
- Verification strategy development and improvement
- Cross-program technical coordination
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience supporting Missile Warning, space, or DoD system verification and test efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline
- Demonstrated experience supporting system verification or test activities
- Ability to provide independent technical input and recommendations
- Active TS/SCI clearance
