Google Cloud Engineer III
Role summary
iVision Consulting is seeking a Google Cloud Engineer III to support a federal client's modernization initiatives. This hybrid role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, with employees expected onsite in Bethesda, Maryland, two days per week. The engineer will deploy and administer Google Cloud environments, leveraging systems administration experience in security, load balancing, provisioning, and metrics. A strong DevSecOps background is essential for monitoring GCP infrastructure and supporting service deployments. The role also involves developing CI/CD pipelines and utilizing experience with AWS and other cloud platforms to transform SOA-based environments. A Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific discipline and seven years of technical experience, including at least two years in Google Cloud environments, are required.

Responsibilities
:
- Deploy and administer Google cloud environments, applying systems administration experience on cloud web services platforms to include security, load balancing, provisioning, and metrics.
- Leverage experience in applying AWS and other Google cloud deployments in order to enable transformation of SOA-based environments into cloud-enabled environments.
- Strong DevSecOps background to establish monitoring of GCP infrastructure, support deployment of GCP services across tiers
- Develop CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Technical or Scientific Discipline
- Seven (7) years of technical experience, with at least two (2) years of in Google cloud-based environments.
Salary
:
- $140,000 annual salary
