Seeking a VP, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy in a complex, data-driven organization. This executive leadership role is responsible for shaping and driving a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy across a complex, data-driven organization. You will oversee the protection of critical systems, sensitive data, and advanced technology platforms, ensuring security is embedded at every level of operations and innovation. The position blends deep technical expertise with strategic vision, enabling you to translate cyber risks into business decisions at the highest levels. You will lead the transformation of security operations through AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve resilience and efficiency. Accountabilities

  • Define and lead the enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy, including architecture, governance, operations, and compliance.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year security roadmap aligned with business priorities, regulatory frameworks, and technology evolution.
  • Establish a risk-based investment strategy to prioritize initiatives and optimize resource allocation.
  • Oversee security architecture across identity and access management, data protection, cloud environments, and zero-trust frameworks.
  • Lead AI-driven transformation of security operations, leveraging automation, machine learning, and advanced analytics to enhance detection and response.
  • Build and manage a high-performing, intelligence-led SecOps function focused on speed, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Drive adoption of modern security platforms and continuously evaluate emerging technologies to improve performance and reduce risk.
  • Serve as the primary advisor to executive leadership and the Board, translating cybersecurity risks into clear business insights.
  • Lead incident response, crisis management, and enterprise-wide readiness for evolving threats.
  • Ensure compliance with global standards and regulations, maintaining strong governance across all security domains.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity leadership, including ownership of enterprise-wide security programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling modern security organizations in cloud-native, high-growth environments.
  • Deep expertise in cybersecurity domains including cloud security, identity and access management, detection and response, application security, and data protection.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-driven security tools, automation frameworks, and advanced analytics.
  • Strong ability to design and implement risk-based investment and prioritization strategies.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and Boards, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated success operating in complex, highly regulated environments.
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong technical depth and execution capabilities.
