Accountabilities
In this role, you will:
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports enterprise-level applications and multi-cloud environments.
- Configure hardware, software, networking, and storage components, while implementing security policies and access controls.
- Automate testing, deployment, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning using tools like GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of both infrastructure and applications, including monitoring and alerting with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders and internal teams to resolve software issues, support platform adoption, and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain code, including APIs and automation scripts, while debugging and optimizing existing systems.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate innovative solutions to enhance cloud platform capabilities.
Requirements
Candidates should bring:
- Active Secret clearance (required).
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
- Expertise in hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Proficiency with Linux, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher), and cloud monitoring tools.
- Strong coding skills in Python, Java, or Go, and experience with automation scripts, APIs, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, and automated provisioning.
- Knowledge of identity and access management (Active Directory, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (SEC+ or equivalent).
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, prior GovTech experience, Agile development familiarity, and Kubernetes certification (CKAD/CKA).
