This role is responsible for shaping and executing the strategy for identity, access, and eligibility systems that underpin member, dependent, client, and clinical staff experiences. You will manage a critical product portfolio that ensures secure, seamless, and scalable access to benefits and services across complex healthcare ecosystems. The position requires close collaboration with engineering, data, security, clinical operations, and client success teams to deliver reliable, real-time eligibility solutions. You will define metrics, optimize workflows, and build internal tools that empower teams to manage eligibility efficiently. You will balance security, compliance, and usability to deliver trustworthy, low-friction access across multiple channels and audiences.
Accountabilities
- Own the end-to-end product roadmap for identity, authentication, and eligibility systems, including member enrollment, verification, and benefit access management
- Define and simplify data models representing member eligibility, account relationships, and benefits coverage
- Partner with engineering and data teams to ensure reliable, real-time eligibility determination that powers member-facing experiences
- Build internal tooling for client success, operations, and clinical teams to manage eligibility, troubleshoot issues, and configure systems
- Set and track reliability, accuracy, and latency targets for eligibility systems, holding cross-functional partners accountable
- Design access, authentication, and consent patterns for members and non-human agents, balancing security with usability
- Collaborate with AI, security, and clinical teams to ensure automated experiences adhere to consent, regulatory, and risk standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, particularly in platform, identity, data, or infrastructure products
- Deep understanding of identity and access management concepts, including SSO, OAuth, member matching, and eligibility/benefit file processing
- Strong data fluency; able to define, track, and analyze metrics to guide product decisions
- Experience in healthcare or benefits systems, with knowledge of managing member information securely and accurately
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Curiosity and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Startup experience is a plus; able to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments
