Job Details
We are on the hunt for a seasoned Controls Software Engineer to join our dynamic Tech Services team. This is a permanent, full-time position that provides an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software for our automated machine controls. With a strong emphasis on C#.NET GUI and schematics, this role is perfect for someone who is passionate about technology, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Controls Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Designing and developing software for automated machine controls using C#.NET GUI and other relevant technologies.
2. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics to understand system operations and troubleshoot issues.
3. Collaborating with other engineers and team members to develop and maintain system software and hardware.
4. Conducting system tests to ensure software performance and reliability.
5. Providing technical support and guidance to other team members.
6. Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems remain current and competitive.
7. Documenting all software design and development processes for future reference and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Controls Software Engineer position, you must possess the following:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically with C#.NET GUI, automated machine controls, and schematics.
3. Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and logically.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
6. The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently, with minimal supervision.
7. A strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. A passion for technology and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
