Job Overview

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of advanced aerospace navigation systems. This role involves working on complex software that integrates data from multiple sensors into real-time flight guidance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain embedded software for real-time operating systems
  • Contribute to software architecture, design, and implementation
  • Perform system integration, testing, and validation
  • Support certification processes and documentation (e.g., aerospace standards)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Provide technical support and resolve system issues
  • Participate in feature definition and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
  • 1+ years of experience in embedded software development
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with low-level programming concepts
  • Experience with version control systems and CI/CD tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to meet applicable export control and security requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS, Linux, or similar)
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile or Waterfall)
  • Familiarity with aerospace or safety-critical standards (e.g., DO-178)
  • Experience with embedded systems, drivers, and hardware interfaces (ARM, FPGA, etc.)
  • Understanding of communication protocols (e.g., CAN, ARINC standards)
  • Experience with tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or JIRA
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams
