Role Overview

Product Security Engineer
to enhance the security posture of software products by collaborating with development teams. You will help manage product risk, implement security controls, and provide guidance on secure product architecture and development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and mitigate product security risks
- Define and implement security requirements for products and services
- Provide guidance on secure architecture and secure software development practices
- Conduct threat modeling, security reviews, and vulnerability assessments
- Support DevSecOps processes, CI/CD pipeline security, and tooling integration
- Work with containers and virtual environments following secure configurations
- Mentor engineering teams in secure development practices
- Contribute to the improvement of Secure Development Lifecycle processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or 3+ years of Cyber Security experience
- 2+ years experience in software or product security
- Knowledge of Agile software development practices
- Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD security tooling
- Understanding of cryptography, encryption algorithms, PKI, secure boot, and open-source risk management
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to facilitate diverse teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Security certifications such as CISSP or CSSLP
- Experience with security tools such as SD Elements, BlackDuck, threat modeling, SAST/DAST tools, fuzzing, vulnerability management, or continuous monitoring
