Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated
Hardware Test Engineer I
to join our Aerospace Technologies team. In this role, you will support sub-assembly circuit card assemblies (CCA) and system-level testing, including setup, troubleshooting, and software support for test stations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met and support modernization initiatives for hardware and software testing.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy problem-solving, learning advanced testing platforms, and contributing to the development of aerospace technologies that enhance safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, and debug hardware in sub-assembly and system-level testing
  • Provide software support for functional testing and debugging
  • Set up and troubleshoot test stations, sub-assemblies, and system-level products
  • Develop and execute test procedures for functional validation
  • Continuously improve testing workflows and efficiency
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and performance issues

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Combination of academic, internship/co-op, or work experience in Electrical/Hardware Engineering or Test Engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to develop expertise in advanced testing platforms
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
  • Experience in circuit card assembly testing or similar hardware validation roles
  • Hands-on experience with functional test equipment and system debugging
  • Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes and standards
  • Experience with software tools for test automation and system troubleshooting
