Role summary

Dice is seeking an OTT Test Engineer for Laiba Technologies LLC in Englewood, NJ. This onsite role involves testing Over-The-Top (OTT) applications, including Video on Demand (VOD) and Live TV, across various platforms like Smart TVs, Roku, Samsung, Apple TV, and mobile devices. Responsibilities include validating video playback, UI performance, testing content metadata, analyzing network logs using tools like Charles or Fiddler, and tracking defects in Jira. The engineer will also validate firmware and app updates and is expected to create basic automation scripts using Java and open-source tools, collaborating closely with developers to resolve issues. A face-to-face interview is required.
