Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Functional Lead Analyst to join our Functional team. The role focuses on the implementation and support of SAP projects built on SAP S/4HANA technology.
A strong candidate will value collaboration and will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to deliver and support SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Functional Leadership
- Lead end-to-end SAP Activate project activities including requirements validation, workshops, functional design, test script development, and support for training and deployment.
- Translate functional specifications into technical design documents and coordinate with ABAP teams.
- Prepare test plans/scripts and perform unit, integration, and UAT testing.
Solution Design & Configuration
- Propose and implement complex configuration solutions and perform full-cycle configuration.
- Create, maintain, and update functional documentation.
- Define and validate requirements, ensuring robust architecture and data flows across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and trade-off analyses based on industry best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with business SMEs, architects, developers, and system integrators to analyze current processes and recommend enhancements.
- Provide leadership for root-cause analysis and issue resolution during testing cycles.
- Lead configuration management and development of system architecture models.
Technical Ownership
- Oversee and guide the development of WRICEF objects in collaboration with ABAP teams.
- Evaluate new SAP releases or alternative solutions and stay updated with business and technical best practices.
Other Responsibilities
- Exercise strong critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Work effectively across overlapping time zones, particularly with US-based teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 2-3 full-cycle MRO implementation projects, including at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation with SAP Activate methodology.
- Strong domain experience in MRO, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Plant Maintenance, and integration with modules such as EWM.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP MRO processes including:
- Maintenance planning & execution
- Asset induction
- Refurbishment
- Inventory management
- Service processing
- Strong understanding of in-house and field service repair processes, including:
- Service Orders
- Maintenance Orders
- Refurbishment Orders
- Subcontracting Repairs
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori.
- Knowledge of SAP Activate and Agile/SAFe methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- S/4HANA certifications are an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Maintenance/Repair/Overhaul processes within Aerospace & Defense or similar industries.
- Experience with iMRO is a significant advantage.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with customers, peers, and partners.
