Role summary

Dice is seeking a Mainframe Software Engineer for Up2date Technologies. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree and over 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in development. Key technical skills include hands-on experience with IBM DB2, COBOL, and mainframe systems, along with proficiency in various mainframe tools such as SELCOPY, SORT, BMC DB2 Tools, Fault Analyzer, Application Performance Analyzer, REXX, File Manager, Endeavor, CA7, and debugging tools. Experience in Agile environments is preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for managing complex initiatives, including integration, risks, and issues.

Bachelor’s Degree
10+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in development
Hands-on experience with IBM DB2, COBOL, and mainframe systems
Experience with mainframe tools such as SELCOPY, SORT, BMC DB2 Tools, Fault Analyzer, Application Performance Analyzer, REXX, File Manager, Endeavor, CA7, and debugging tools
Experience working in Agile environments and participating in Agile ceremonies
