Full Charge Bookkeeper

Jon Richards Company is a growing fabrication business specializing in sets, props, signage, and themed environments, alongside affiliated businesses in service and real estate. We are seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities.

This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and confident managing the full accounting cycle.

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:45 PM (4x10 schedule)
• Occasional flexibility required during month-end and year-end close

What You’ll Do

Accounting & Financial Management

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple entities
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper classification of transactions
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments
• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections
• Follow up on outstanding balances and maintain cash flow visibility

Payroll & Compliance

• Process payroll, including wages, taxes, and deductions
• Handle sales tax filings, quarterly reporting, and year-end close
• Assist with tax preparation and coordinate with CPA as needed

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management
• Perform account analysis to identify trends, variances, and issues
• Support budgeting and provide insights to improve financial performance

• Clear communication skills for working with ownership and team members

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
• QuickBooks proficiency is REQUIRED
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with payroll, sales tax, and multi-entity accounting
• Strong data entry skills
