Role summary
JTEC Consulting LLC seeks a mid-level Application Test Engineer with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience for a full-time, remote position supporting application sustainment and backend administration. The role involves Tier 2/3 support, requirements definition, testing, VDI client tool installation, load balancing configuration, and management plan development. Candidates must have a Secret security clearance, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and a Security+ certification or equivalent. Required experience includes 4-8 years in application support and testing across Linux/Windows, Oracle Identity Suite, Oracle EBS, SAML/SSO, API troubleshooting, and VDI management. Experience with STIGs, CDRL documentation, and Windows Server Administration is also necessary.

Position Description:
JTEC Consulting is hiring a mid-level Application Support Engineer/Application Test Engineer with Oracle experience to support the sustainment of applications and services for backend administration. Qualified candidates will have experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Work as part of a collaborative team supporting application and services sustainment and backend administration support for OCI
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for integration issues
- Support requirements definition, design, and build for data technology components
- Support application testing
- Install application client tools on VDI images and pools
- Support load balancing configuration for applications
- Provide support for management plan to validate and forecast sizing
- Maintain licenses
- Other duties, as assigned
Education and qualifications include (but are not limited to):
- U.S. citizenship; no dual citizenship
- Current secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- Current Security+ certification or equivalent industry recognized certification to meet DoD 8570 compliance required for consideration
- 4-8 years of related experience with application support and testing including:
- Experience with application and testing support in Linux and Windows environments
- Experience with Oracle Identity Suite and integration with Oracle EBS applications and database
- Experience with application configuration with SAML/SSO authentication
- Experience providing API troubleshooting and resolution at Tier 2 and higher
- Experience developing and maintaining management plan including validating and forecasting sizing
- Experience maintaining licenses and vault access
- Experience with STIGs and CDRL Documentation
- Experience with VMware VDI including installing application client tools on VDI Images/Pools
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Administration
Preferred experience includes:
- Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Octane is preferred
- Experience with UFT, LoadRunner, Dynatrace, ReadyAPI is preferred
- Experience with CyberArk is preferred
- Experience with VMWare/Horizon is preferred
