Engineering Manager, AI

building out a next-generation
AI product suite
across legal, tax, and enterprise workflows.

They’re looking for an
Engineering Manager
to lead a high-impact team working on
AI-native products
—focused on scaling systems, driving innovation, and solving complex, ambiguous problems across the software lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

- Lead and grow a team of engineers building AI-driven products end-to-end
- Own and drive the
technical roadmap
, balancing new innovation with system reliability and scalability
- Partner cross-functionally with product, design, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions
- Mentor and develop engineers, building a strong pipeline of future leaders
- Introduce and scale
modern engineering practices
across teams
- Operate across both
strategy and execution
—this is not a purely hands-off role

What They’re Looking For

- ~8+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years managing and scaling engineering teams
- Strong background in
backend systems (Python, AWS)
- Experience working in
fast-moving, product-focused environments
- Track record of driving
process improvements, technical strategy, and team development
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and build structure where needed

*Nice to have:*
exposure to modern frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript), AI/ML systems, or large-scale data platforms
